Reno – Sparks Mobile Dog Gym

Climate controlled, self-paced exercise for dogs.
Licensed & Insured

SELF-PACED

We do not force any dog to run! Our NON-MOTORIZED treadmills allow your dog to walk, trot, or run at their own pace. We simply encourage them and provide plenty of positive reinforcement.

Safety

Your dog’s health and safety are our top priority! Each session is tailored to your dog’s specific needs and endurance levels. We will slow down and stop them periodically to provide a rest, water, and a cool down.

What are your hours and service areas?

We offer services from 6am to 8pm Wednesday-Saturday depending on availability. We also have various pop-up locations. You can find updated locations, dates, and times on our website.
We serve all of Sparks/Reno. Other locations will be considered for special events or with an additional travel fee.

What services do you offer?

We offer pop-up locations where you can schedule a time to bring your dog to us as well as at home and in-home sessions. In-home sessions allow your dog to feel safe running in the comfort of their own home.

How long is the session and can I watch?

Sessions are 20-30 minutes depending on the fitness level, health concerns and interest of your dog. Every session includes a warm-up and cool-down.
Yes, we have limited space, so we ask that only one person joins during the session. Typically, after the first or second session, owners let their furry friend enjoy the session alone.

Safety and Requirements?

For the health and safety of your dog, and all dogs running with us, we require the following:

  1. Vaccinations (Rabies, Distemper Parvo, Bordetella)
  2. Not currently prescribed a de-wormer / no signs of roundworms or parasites
  3. Nails should be trimmed to prevent possible injury
  4. No signs of ticks/fleas

Please consult with your vet to ensure your dog is healthy and in good condition to exercise. We frequently clean and spray for fleas and ticks to ensure a clean environment for your dog.

What if my dog is not interested?

Most dogs love to walk/jog/run on the treadmill. If you have a special toy or treat(s) we can use them during the session to help reward, encourage, and motivate your pup. Most dogs warm up and are comfortable within the first 10 minutes, however some may take a couple sessions to be fully comfortable. We do not force dogs to do anything, and it is completely self-paced.
If you are not sure, we encourage you to join us at one of our pop-up locations where your dog can try it out at a lower cost.

Are the trainers experienced?

Yes, all our trainers are experienced, and passionate about dog care. They ensure a safe and enjoyable workout for your furry friend, focusing on their individual needs.

What are the benefits of treadmill workouts for dogs?

Treadmill workouts help reduce excess energy, improve behavior, and promote overall health in dogs. They are especially beneficial for busy owners or dogs needing extra exercise in a controlled setting.

How do I book a session?

Click on the Book Now or Book A Session button on our website. You can also email or text us. Same day appointments are typically only available at pop-up locations.

How do I prepare my dog for each session?
  1. Please ensure your dog does not have any food or water 1 hour prior to the session.
  2. Just before the session, please take your pup out to go potty. We understand accidents can happen.
  3. If there is a special toy or treat that motivates them, we’d be happy to use it during the session to encourage them.
  4. If your dog has a harness, please have it on. We do have harnesses available if needed.
  5. It is highly recommended to ensure your dog’s nails are trimmed to prevent possible injuries.
  6. IF YOUR DOG IS AGGRESSIVE OR HAS A HISTORY OF AGGRETION – we require you to have a muzzle placed on the dog prior to us handling them. Muzzles can be removed during future sessions if the dog and trainer are both comfortable.
What about payments and cancellations?

We accept all major credit/debit cards, Zelle, Venmo, and cash.
All payments are required at booking and final.
Cancellations will incur a $25 charge if made within 24 hours. Exception may be made on a case-by-case basis for extenuating/emergency situations.
Cancelled sessions will be credited and can be used within 12 months of the original session date.
